Sleep Positions: the star

About the star

German analysts in the 50s initially labelled this position 'Die Decke' (Literally: The Blanket) and assumed it was a counterpart to 'the pillow' with similar connotations though more for those subjects with slightly less insecurity.

Contemporary reserach has renamed this position 'the star' and the majority opinion of sleep therapists today is that this is a position favoured by gregarious characters who seek to find the outer limits in all situations.

It is also the most common position for those who are overtired or people who have consumed a considerable amount of alcohol.
